Why do men think they don’t need to be romantic once they get married? When you are dating they buy you flowers and hold open the door for you. After you’re married you’re lucky if they pick a weed for you. And watch out for the door to hit you in the face after they have walked in first. When you’re dating they actually want you around and like to hold hands and cuddle, but after that ring goes on your finger say babuy to all that. Maybe once in a blue moon he might get a twitch and want to touch you with no hidden agendas. Guys say that sex goes out the window when you get married, well us women say that romance goes out the window when you get married. They think that well I have already married her so I don’t have to try anymore. We still want that romance, the intimacy, the feeling that they still find us attractive and still want us. We want to make their heads turn not some stranger watching us cross the street. I do have to give my husband some credit though, he does still try a little in his own little ways. They don’t realize that when we are struttin what our mommas gave us it’s their attention we are trying to get! Ten years and three kids later I still want my husband to turn his head towards me and say I still look good.
